Knowledge Plaza allows users to add websites, documents, contacts, discussions, emails and references. Each item becomes a social object allowing users to tag, discuss and interact in a number of ways with the knowledge item. Items can also be grouped together for reference or collaboration, and annotated before export or sharing.
Additionally Knowledge Plaza provides many ways to search internal (within the system) and external (on the internet or intranet) information. Users can create their own search strategies and access a categorized list of company search tools or use another member or collection as a search engine.
Finally knowledge plaza provides the ability for users to identify and follow other users based upon their content or expertise with a dashboard providing a social overview.
